Data Retention
Assistra retains data as needed to operate the service, support customers, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, comply with law and preserve billing or audit records.
Operational data
Conversation history, customer identities, timelines, leads, appointment requests, order requests, cancellation or reschedule records, notifications and channel logs may be retained for operational continuity.
Temporary attachments
Uploaded files are not stored permanently. Images and documents may be kept for 30 days by default, audio for 14 days and video for 7 days unless platform policy changes. After expiry, the chat or timeline record remains but the original file may be removed.
Audit and billing records
Runtime audit logs, tenant security audit events, invoices, receipts, subscription records and webhook delivery logs may be retained for accountability, dispute handling, abuse prevention and compliance.
Backups and deletion limits
Deleted records may remain in backups or logs for a limited period where needed for security, disaster recovery, billing, legal compliance or technical integrity.
Deletion requests
Tenant data deletion or export requests may be handled according to account status, legal requirements, backup cycles, identity verification and technical limitations.
