Messaging Channel Terms
Assistra supports tenant-owned messaging channels such as WhatsApp, Telegram and Facebook Messenger.
Tenant-owned accounts
Tenants are responsible for their own Meta Business Account, WhatsApp Business Account, phone number, Facebook Page, Telegram bot and related provider approvals.
Provider rules and costs
Provider messaging windows, templates, opt-in, opt-out, quality ratings, restrictions, fees and outages are controlled by the provider. Assistra does not pay tenant WhatsApp, Meta, Telegram or other provider costs unless separately agreed in writing.
Channel availability
Messaging channel delivery may be delayed or unavailable because of provider outages, revoked permissions, invalid credentials, account restrictions, webhooks, rate limits, customer device issues or live sending being disabled.
Testing before live sending
Tenants should validate credentials, configure webhooks, send real inbound test messages and confirm staff readiness before enabling real outbound sending.
Customer consent and messaging rules
Tenants are responsible for collecting and honoring customer consent, using approved templates when required, respecting messaging windows and providing opt-out or unsubscribe handling where applicable.
